The word “pīkake” means “peacock,” and the blossom’s scent is well-loved by many. When making lei, pīkake is often used, especially its white-petaled, single-flowered variety. With our collection, we wanted to capture the beauty of the pīkake and how its scent brings us all back home - to Hawaiʻi. Pīkake n.1. The Arabian jasmine (Jasminum sambac), introduced from India, a shrub or climber, with rounded, dark-green leaves and small, white, very fragrant flowers used for leis. Since Princess Ka-ʻiu-lani was fond of both these flowers and her peacocks (pīkake), the same name was given the flowers. (Neal 680.) (as found in wehewehe.org)

I was looking for something decorative for my house, and this lei garland adds the perfect amount of color and style to my mantle! I will also use this during the holidays, as I'm sure it beautiful with lights!
I am aware of the pullover being a slim fit however, the length of it seems like it is a crop style. I have a long torso so I was not expecting the pullover to end right at my waist. It would have been nice if it was longer. The green color is nice.

Another winner from Laha'ole! I've been in love with the quilt designs for quite a while, and own a few shirts and shorts in the same design. Not only is this towel soft and comfy, but it's also super stylish too! The color is just subtle enough, and the towel is very absorbent too. I hope she puts out matching facecloths and hand towels too!
