Inspired by Ming’s ivory pīkake (jasmine) jewelry, which is a sought after Hawaiian heirloom, we sought to bring back and honor this vintage beauty. Our Pīkake Choker Necklace is adjustable and features our largest available hand-carved Mother of Pearl pīkake beads. Strung on a 14K Gold-Filled wire and finished with 14K gold-filled components, this delicate piece is elegant, sophisticated, and bound to make its wearer feel confident and powerful.

Measurements: 16 to 18 inches.

Pīkake n.1. The Arabian jasmine (Jasminum sambac), introduced from India, a shrub or climber, with rounded, dark-green leaves and small, white, very fragrant flowers used for leis. Since Princess Ka'iulani was fond of both these flowers and her peacocks (pīkake), the same name was given the flowers. (Neal 680.) (as found in wehewehe.org)

Absolutely beautiful! My husband surprised me with this for Christmas and I love it, along with earrings that match! It will definitely be a nice heirloom in our Ohana.
